Fred Cornish joined EldridgeCooperSteichen&Leach as a member,
bringing his extensive experience as a commercial litigator
in federal and state court. He has focused on the litigation
and transactional needs of local business clients and also
has expertise in legal challenges facing higher education. Most recently he has taken responsibility for litigation to protect the forestry operations in Southeast Oklahoma of Weyerhaeuser Company and Oklahoma Timber, LLC. Fred’s
practice includes employment litigation, small business
and commercial transactions, probate and estate planning. Fred has been Oklahoma
Commissioner to the National Conference on Uniform State
Laws and also served as Chairman of the Oklahoma Board of
Mental Health. He received a special appointment as Judge
of the Oklahoma Court of Appeals.
